Crestone Retreat Moves and Inspires...

Our second (and last!) retreat of the summer, to Crestone, Colorado, gave nearly ten participants the chance to dance, relax, and even play in the sand dunes! The week-long adventure brought out the inner poet in many: read on!

Shapes - laughter - warm bodies
- alive - we're alive
Then not - breathing more deeply
letting the sun in -
clouds - drifting membranes of the earth -
closed beings everywhere
hovering away
The monk ferris - bringing us refreshment
moisture - birds crossing my path - so much giving
- giving - giving touch of lone
space at being present - gifted

Dancing
Roaming - dancing - moving
the body opened
to the soul
to the others
to the sound
to the stone
to the meals
to the water
to the mindfulness
forgiving myself
and everybody and
the universe
and the nothing and the all
letting the music dance
and the dance make the universe of ancient...
and future vision
